Project: Mask Design

This week the kids took on designing a washable mask with protection over 90%. The weekly Guest was pediatric oncologist Joanna Newton, who has been featured in The Atlantic for her efforts to pioneer N95 production in the US by repurposing automobile factories. Our kids spent the week learning about polarity, prototypes, and sewing!
